Son of legendary Michael Schumacher is set to test an F1 car for the first time with Ferrari in next week’s tests in Bahrain.
Mick Schumacher will reunite two classic names in motorsport during the post-race tests in Bahrain. The german, recently signed to the Ferrari Driver Academy, was chosen by Ferrari to drive their car on Tuesday (02/04). A day later Schumacher will also test with Alfa Romeo.
Mick was 2018’s champion of the important European F3 Series and this weekend will make his debut in Formula 2, carrying in his shoulders the weight of the Schumacher name. The affiliation with Ferrari is nostalgic and important, in the early 2000’s Michael won 5 straight World Championships with the Italian Squad.
