The Ferrari driver believes the six drivers in the big teams will “have a say” in the title battle.
After the disappointing opening race for Ferrari and Red Bull’s Pierre Gasly, Sebastian Vettel believes that the title battle will be closer than what we saw in the Australian Grand Prix.
Vettel doesn’t think the performance shown by Ferrari represents its full potential and he expects to fight throughout the year with Mercedes and Red Bull, and not only with the number one drivers.
“I think you have three big teams and all of these three teams have the potential to have a very, very strong year,” said Vettel. “I think all of these six drivers in the end will have a word to say, hopefully for as long as possible for all of us to be in the fight.”
